The hunt for roaming deer continues in a North Carolina beach community. WCTI-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/wf0rw3 ) a Carteret County judge has refused to order a stop to the work of bow hunters in an Emerald Isle neighborhood at the tip of its barrier island.

ANNA HARVEY EMERALD ISLE — A 10-day temporary restraining order has been issued against the Lands End Homeowners’ Association Board of Directors to stop the upcoming planned deer hunt in a residential subdivision here until after a public hearing is held.
